New Features: Embed Question on Your Website and Richer Sharing on Facebook and Twitter

We are putting in a lot of effort behind the scenes to make running question and answer (Q&A) sessions with Assenty a richer and more engaging experience. Consequently, we have more new features to announce! Read on for the detail…

New Feature: Embed Question from Assenty on Your Website or Blog

Ever since I first mentioned the idea of Assenty to friends and family, the request that kept coming back was: can you paste a question board on your own website?

Well, now, you can, of sorts…

Each question has its own Embed button
Each question has an Embed button

Each question posted on Assenty has an Embed this button beneath the Share buttons on its individual Question page.

Clicking on that opens up a pop up with a link to the code you need to embed that question on your blog or website.

Copy and paste the embed code
Copy and paste the embed code

Simply copy and paste that into your blog or website to embed the question.

And it looks like this:

We’re quite excited about this feature! Please let us know if you come across any problems using it.

New Feature: Richer Sharing on Facebook and Twitter for Questions and Question Boards

We’ve also taken the time to improve the experience of sharing a question or question board from Assenty on Facebook or Twitter.

You will notice that tweets and posts on Facebook now include an excerpt of the question or question board being shared, and a rather eye catching image.

It looks like this on Twitter:

Sharing Questions now more engaging on Twitter

And, on Facebook:

Enjoy!
