#FemaleTechFounder Night: Meet our Q&A Host: Lisa Murgatroyd

Momentum keeps building up towards next week’s launch at Federation House, Manchester, which also happens to be the first #FemaleTechFounder event!

We’re thrilled to be announcing that the host for our Q&A panel at the event on Tuesday 5 February is none other than Lisa Murgatroyd.

Lisa currently serves as Regional Manager for a youth mentoring project, One Million Mentors. Her previous experience is in event technology and supporting the start-up ecosystem in Manchester, whilst developing a personal passion for events, mentoring and community engagement.

In her own words:

There’s something hugely powerful about bringing female founders into a room to hear their stories, in their own words. Even more so if the companies are tech focused, an area where women are still woefully underrepresented at C level. I’m looking forward to facilitating a panel discussion on challenges and opportunities faced by these accomplished founders.

Lisa has a huge amount of experience working with startups in Manchester and we’re over the moon that she can be involved in what is set to be a fantastic Q&A discussion at the event, which is kindly sponsored by the lovely people at ThoughtWorks.

We are well past the halfway mark now in terms of attendees so please sign up if you’re intending on coming! It’s free to attend and tickets are going fast!

You can register on Meetup or Eventbrite.
