Disregard the rather brazen title for this blog post, but that got your attention, didn’t it?!
We’ve got a new feature to announce on Assenty!
We now send you the permalink to your question board’s Stats page whenever you create (or close) a question board. Read on for more detail.
What is Assenty?
Assenty is an easy way to get fresh content shared about your event on social media by inviting questions for the speakers.
Powered by the same virtual machine underlying WhatsApp, it supports a virtually unlimited number of concurrent users. To use it, just visit a link, no download required!
Going forward: A clear focus on ROI
Over the last few months, we’ve been speaking a lot to corporate event organisers about marketing their events on social media by inviting questions for the speakers and one word keeps coming up again and again: ROI.
Amongst professional event organisers there is a great desire to be able to demonstrate ROI (return on investment) on marketing and promoting events on social media.
This need is more acute because the advantages of marketing and promoting events on social media directly affect what can be considered as fairly subjective brand attributes: brand reach and brand perception.
In the light of this, going forward we’re going to be pushing in the direction of providing event organisers using our platform with tools to better understand where their investment is going into in terms of extending brand reach and perception on social media.
We are very early days into this approach but I am delighted to announce that we’ve made some changes to the platform towards making things that little bit easier for marketing professionals using Assenty now to promote their events on social media.
A fresh spotlight on a question board’s Stats page
Now when you create (or close a question board) we email you a permanent link to the oft overlooked Stats page on the question board.
This page provides a quick, at-a-glance overview of the attention and interaction a question board is receiving (in real time).
You can see a count of questions, answers, awards and votes posted to the platform as they come in, as demonstrated in this short screencast.
Enjoy the new feature and stay tuned for more exciting news!
