#FemaleTechFounder Night – April event round up

We had a belter of a time last month at the #FemaleTechFounder pitching workshop and masterclass delivered by the NatWest Business Builder dream team.

In case you missed it, here’s your brief round up. And you can also sign up for the next one!

Thank you again to Heather Waters (@heatherwaters15), Regional Enterprise Manager North West, NatWest Business Banking, Nick McCafferty, (@NickAccelerator), Entreprise Acceleration Manager, Natwest and Adam Clayton, (@Adamclayton4321), Local Enterprise Manager, Manchester, Greater Manchester, Lancashire and our illustrious host Claire-Marie Boggiano (@CMBoggiano), director, Lurig Change Management for a very enjoyable lunchtime event.

To kick things off, Heather and Adam shared about the Business Builder and NatWest Entrepreneur Accelerator which is now accepting applications.

It’s a fantastic scheme – supporting a wide range of founders and businesses, from fintechs to B Corp accredited initiatives.

Definitely worth checking out – there’s more detail here and in this video of Heather and Adam’s presentation.

After the introduction, Nick enthralled us all with a very, very, insightful pitch workshop focussed on how to craft the perfect 60 second pitch.

We particularly enjoyed the tip about removing words like ‘hopefully’, ‘probably’, ‘maybe’, ‘possibly’ from your pitch presentation – “be confident and clear”, he said, it’s much more inspiring!

Here comes a video snippet from his presentation.

As with all our events you can catch up by listening to the podcast.

Now sad you missed it and want to attend the next Female Tech Founder event?
