June #FemaleTechFounder Night – How do I pitch to an investor?

June #FemaleTechFounder Night – How do I pitch to an investor?

It’s that time again! #FemaleTechFounder Night takes place next week at Federation House, Manchester on Tuesday 11 June from 6-8:30pm and tickets are limited, and going fast! Sign up to attend.

We’re doing things a little differently this time, following on from the fantastic feedback at the last event.

Rather than following the opening Q&A plus 4 lightning talks format, we’re adding a pitch practice session to the mix!

Why?

You asked, so we organised!

Using the pre-event polling feature available on Assenty, we asked whether you wanted to know more about pitching and 69% of you said Yes.

So, going forward, we’re going to be introducing a pitch practice session to #FemaleTechFounder events with this very first one a chance for one lucky founder to glean from the years of entrepreneurial wisdom in the room and perfect a winning pitch to investors.

We are also reducing the number of speakers on the night – we’ve taken on board feedback about making more time for networking at the end of the event, and ensuring the all important audience Q&A with all the speakers at the end of the night takes place.

As we have done in the past, we’re running a quick poll to find out what you want to know at the event.

Please take a minute to vote and let us know your concerns around the pitching to investors.

We will be using a question board at this event – feel free to submit any burning questions you may have for our speakers, and/or any suggestions about what you’d like to see at the event and give us feedback by voting in the polls. You can post anonymously.

Oh, and keep an eye out for more information on the stellar lineup of speakers!
